On 14 June 2024, the "Fire Protection Cup" took place for the first time at the Grevenmühle Golf Club.
The starting signal for the 34 participants was given at 9 a.m. on the beautifully maintained course. For a minimum donation of €10, which some participants spontaneously doubled, the golfers not only received their scorecard, but were also able to enjoy refreshments along the way.
This year, the Fire Protection Cup 2024 will be held as a tournament with gross, net and nospecial evaluations. The winners will receive cash and non-cash prizes, each participant a give-away bag and, most importantly, a regional charitable organization committed to fire safety regional non-profit organization committed to fire protection will be supported with a cash donation.
With the payment of the entry fee (green fee + donation), the club receives a donation of € 10.00, which is doubled by our office.
As usual with the Brandschutz Cup, there are high-quality prizes from our sponsors and the fun of the game is not neglected.
The first-place winners (gross and net) will receive prize money of €200, the two second-place winners will receive net prize money of €100 and the two third-place winners will receive net prize money of €50.

If a winner is not present at the award ceremony, the prize will be donated to the non-profit organization for further use.
The Brandschutz Cup is played with handicap in two classes according to handicap index higher or lower 36.0 and separately for men and women, singles according to Stableford over 18 holes. This announcement and the house rules of the Grevenmühle Golf Club apply. The rules of the association and the house rules are available for inspection at the Grevenmühle Golf Club secretary's office. The competition is organized according to the DGV handicap system. These association regulations can be inspected in the secretary's office. Distance measuring devices are permitted in accordance with Rule 4 - 3.
Award ceremony
The award ceremony will take place directly after the tournament.
The donation will be handed over on 18.06.2024.
Participants
Amateurs who are members of a DGV-affiliated club as well as members of recognized domestic or foreign golf clubs with a confirmed handicap are eligible to participate.
The number of participants is limited to 72. A waiting list will be kept.
You can register via PCCaddie, the Grevenmühle Golf Club or our office. If the number of registrations exceeds the starting places, participation will be based on the order in which registrations are received.
The closing date for entries is 2 days before the tournament at 12 noon.
Carts are only permitted in this competition after prior reservation and presentation of a medical certificate or an official disability card.
Match management
The members of the match management will be announced on the start list before the start of the match. The starter acts on behalf of the match management.
Starting times
The starting time is on 14.06.2024 at 9.00 a.m., i.e. as a cannon start. The respective tee time will be announced at the reception of the Grevenmühle Golf Club.
Ranking

1 gross ladies
1 - 3rd net in classes A and B, separated into men and women.
The competition ends at the end of the award ceremony. Protests or complaints can be submitted to the match management up to a maximum of 20 minutes after the result lists have been posted.
Reservation of execution and limitation of liability
Ingenieurbüro Ralf Bultmann is entitled to cancel or terminate the tournament at any time at its own discretion, in particular if, in the opinion of the tournament management, it would be inappropriate to hold the tournament due to health risks or other difficulties.
Participants are not entitled to any compensation or damages if the event has to be canceled or interrupted, even at short notice.
Data protection
I am aware that my name, my handicap and my start time will be published on the start list will be published password-protected on the Internet. By registering for the competition, I also agree to the publication of my name, my picture, my handicap and my competition result in a results list on the Internet or in printed form.
